Motherhood is full of moments that pass too quickly.

One minute you are carrying them on your hip, and the next they are running ahead of you. The quiet snuggles, the laughter, the way their arms wrap around your neck. These are the moments that deserve to be remembered.

These Mother’s Day mini sessions were created with that exact idea in mind. I wanted something simple and timeless that focused completely on connection. No distractions. Just a mother and her children together.

For this mommy and me session, we kept the styling very neutral. Soft white tops and denim created a clean and classic look that will never feel dated. The simple wardrobe allows the focus to stay where it belongs, on the relationship between mom and her babies.

Throughout the session, we captured a mixture of playful and quiet moments. Some images show the children spinning and laughing with their mom. Others show them cuddled close, wrapped around her arms, or sitting together on the floor. Those in between moments are often the ones that end up meaning the most years later.

One of my favorite parts of photographing mothers with their children is watching how naturally kids move toward their mom. They lean on her shoulder, wrap their arms around her neck, and settle right into her lap. It is a reminder that even as they grow, mom is still their safe place.

These images are exactly what I hope every mother has. Photographs that show not just what life looked like during this season, but how it felt.

Because one day these little hands will be bigger, the hugs will be taller, and the quiet moments like these will be something we look back on with full hearts.
