Britney's Studio Maternity Session - Shreveport Maternity Photographer - Leslie Whitaker Photography
I am having my fourth baby. I know the struggles that most women have when their pregnant, you know.. the ones where you just do not feel beautiful. Most of the time you feel swollen or nauseated, overly tired and completely unprepared. Sure, you forget most of the bad stuff once your sweet baby arrives, but those feelings still happened. Neglecting to have beautiful maternity photos taken can be a huge regret. Maybe you don’t do it because you think you won’t like the outcome. I challenge you to do it anyway!
Britney is my makeup artist and she gets to work with my maternity clients, new mom’s and boudoir clients. She is SO good at her job, and I love working with her. She had some ideas for her maternity photos, and I am SO glad she picked me to be her maternity photographer. :)

The Real Fear of Raising a Child of Color // Ashley + Ashton // Leslie Whitaker Photography
I’ve been taking photos of Ashley and Ashton for a little over a year now. She and Ashton came by recently for motherhood photos. The photos are beautiful, but most importantly I hope you’ll take the time to read her words below.
Please tell me about your childhood. Where did you grow up, do you have siblings, etc?
I grew up in the small town of Grand Cane, Louisiana; in a neighborhood referred to as Ranchland Acres (predominantly white). I was the only child for 14 years until my younger brother was born.
As a child: Do you remember your parents ever talking to you about race?
On a few occasions my parents told me stories of some of our older neighbors and how they were labeled racist. I remember my dad having an encounter with one neighbor in particular. Firewood fell off my dad’s trailer in the ditch, in front of the neighbors home. The neighbor was outside, and as my father was turning onto the next street the neighbor literally flagged him down to come back and remove a couple pieces of firewood from the ditch in front of his home.
Please tell me about a time you feel you judged based on the color of your skin. This could be at any point in your life, or something more current.
Working in retail I’ve witnessed first hand experience. One time in particular, myself and another employee were referred to as the colored girl/woman in reference to a mistake that was made.
During your pregnancy with Ashton, do you ever remember having fears in relation to racism?
Yes, after all of the incidents related to officers killing African American men and women and getting away with it. I myself have only had a few encounters with law enforcement during traffic stops . When I found out I was having a son I feared that one day he would miss an opportunity based off the color of his skin. I then knew i would choose a name for him that if he filled out a job application they wouldn’t automatically assume he was a person of color.
People are talking more openly now ( in the past few months) about race and their understanding ( or lack of) how their actions make others feel. What fears do you have, in relation to racism, for Ashton?
I fear that one day he will be wrongful accused or even killed based off the color of his skin. I refuse to teach him to dislike or judge anyone based on how they look different from him.
Like all mothers do, I'm sure you sit up thinking at night about the things you hope for your children. What hopes and dreams do you have for Ashton?
I have no doubt that he will encounter racism, but my hope for Ashton is that he can grow up in this cruel world and be any and everything he wants to be.
I have three children of my own. Landry is 6, Cadiana is 5 and Cameron is 1. I can honestly say that when naming my children I never worried about them being discriminated against based on their name, I’ve never worried about them be wrongly accused because of the color of their skin and I’ve never worried about any of them being passed over for a job just because of the color skin they were born with.
Racism is real. All mothers worry about their children, but NO MOTHER should have to worry about their child’s safety because they weren’t born white. I hope that when you read Ashley’s words you take the time to look inside your heart. I hope that you’ll take the time for self reflection and you’ll move forward actively thinking about how you act towards all people, and you’ll change if need to.
Ashton is a beautiful baby. Ashton deserves all the things that my children deserve. Ashley is a wonderful mother. Ashley deserves to raise her child in a world that treats both her and her child with love, respect and forward thinking. It’s 2020, let’s do better.
Hayley, Eden + JJ. A Breastfeeding Session by Leslie Whitaker
Hayley has done a few breastfeeding sessions with me. The first when Eden was turning one, the second shortly after JJ was born and now her third to celebrate one year of breastfeeding JJ.
Check out my favorites from each of her sessions, and read about her experiences too.
Why did you choose to breastfeed your children? The semi funny answer? I’m lazy. I didn’t want to wash bottles or wake up in the middle of the night to boil water especially when I could just lift my shirt up! The real answer? I love getting to share something special with my child knowing that it’s time that no one else can replicate.
How long did you breastfeed Eden, and how long have you been breastfeeding JJ?I breastfed Eden until she was 15 months old which included pumping at work every day for about 8 months. I have been breastfeeding JJ for 12 months so far! I also had to pump for about 8 months at work but he wouldn’t take bottles so I donated a good bit of that milk.
Have you encountered any setbacks or issues on your breastfeeding journey?I have been so blessed in not having any major setbacks during breastfeeding. My children did have reflux as infants so it was frustrating in the newborn stage that my milk flowed too quickly that it would prompt spit up.
Have you experienced any negative feedback when breastfeeding in public?I am so happy that no one has ever made a comment to me about feeding my children but there definitely is an obvious reaction to feeding without a cover. JJ HATES covers of any type and if I ever tried to cover him, he would proudly show the goods to the public! It’s almost like he was telling people, “If you’re gonna stare, take a good look!”
Please leave a little encouragement for other mothers who are breastfeeding, those that aren't, or those that are struggling with their choice to breastfeed or not.My encouragement for other mothers would be... do what feels right for you! Years from now you won’t revel in the fact that you breastfed or formula fed. You’ll remember what it took to keep your baby healthy! Was it the breast massages, the hours of pumping, the number of bottles you made? No... all of that boils down to the same thing: you, as a mother, did whatever it took to take care of your child and you did it no matter what it took out of you emotionally, physically and mentally!
Noah - Quarantine Babies - Shreveport Newborn Photographer - Leslie Whitaker Photography
Covid-19 has changed many of the ways we live our life. I'd love to hear from you how it has directly affected your pregnancy. Do you feel like you've missed out on anything during your pregnancy with Noah that you'd hoped for? Do you recall any emotional differences related to the changes you faced towards the end of your pregnancy?
Covid-19 took away so much planned during my pregnancy. With so much changing with the hospital guidelines I was pushed to give in and be induced with my son to not risk having my husband missing out on his birth. I wasn’t allowed to have any family visit me during my stay and my photographer couldn’t be there as well. It was really emotional not having my mother with me as well to meet my son. She honestly didn’t get to meet him until he was 9 weeks old.
How was your hospital stay? Do you recall any differences in processes, how you were treated, etc. compared to your birth plan? How did those differences make you feel?
I honestly loved my hospital stay. I was treated so good by the staff. They helped me understand everything that was going on and I lucked out and got a family friend as my nurse. I couldn’t have done it without Brandi or my husband Michael.
Where was Noah born and at how many weeks gestation? How old was your baby on the date of his session?
Noah was born at Willis Knighton Bossier at 39 weeks. We did his newborns at 6-7 weeks!
What were you nervous about going into your session?
I was nervous about Noah not cooperating and taking him out the house.
What was your favorite part of your session experience?
Being pampered with hair and makeup while Leslie took care of Noah for his session.
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?
I am so happy! I have been so excited to have these to share with my family 💙
Would you recommend Leslie to other parents looking to document their newborn? Why would you recommend Leslie?
Of course! Leslie is the best. She’s the baby whisper and she knows what she is doing. She is very professional with her work and she is so kind.
There are so many beautiful styles of newborn photos. A simple white background with baby as the focus of the image, that speaks to me. I add color when the parents want me to, but no matter how hard I try.. I always go back to a clean image. Noah, he looks beautiful in a sweet cotton onesie, and all babies do too. Scroll down to check out my favorites from his newborn session. -Leslie
Declan - Quarantine Babies - Shreveport Newborn Photographer, Leslie Whitaker Photography-
Morgan, Dakota and Declan are such a beautiful family! Declan is a perfect little boy with an olive tone complexion and what look to be blue eyes. On the day of his session he was a complete gentleman and went right to sleep once I swaddled him! He was six weeks old the day of our session, and chunky already. I love working with older newborns, I find that they actually do better than most younger babies and settle into positions with less fuss. I’ve already gotten to see Declan and his parents again, at the sunflower fields - but read below to hear more about Morgan’s final weeks of pregnancy, their session from her perspective and how Covid-19 affected her and her family during Declan’s birth, before and after.
Covid-19 has changed many of the ways we live our life. I'd love to hear from you how it has directly affected your pregnancy. Do you feel like you've missed out on anything during your pregnancy with Declan that you looking forward to? Do you recall any emotional differences related to the changes you faced towards the end of your pregnancy or postpartum experience?
Luckily, I was well into my 3rd trimester before Covid-19 related restrictions set in, but my husband wasn't able to attend my last few doctor's appointments. We even ended up going to a different hospital for Declan's birth because my original hospital was only going to allow my husband to stay for the "Golden Hour" before being asked to leave while I stayed another 48 hours. It was very stressful to think that my husband wouldn't be with me or be able to spend the first couple days with his first newborn. I definitely cried in the doctor's office when I found that out, but thankfully it all worked out.
How was your hospital stay? Do you recall any differences in what you had imagined your birth experience to be like? How did those differences make you feel?
So, we solved the problem of my husband not being able to be with me, but there was no getting past the 1 visitor rule! Our family had to wait until we were all home. It was definitely much different than I imagined. Part of me is very thankful that it was quiet and my husband could spend that time meeting our new little one, but it also would have been great to have family there for extra support and to meet their first grand baby.
Where was Declan born and at how many weeks gestation? How old was your baby on the date of his newborn session?
Declan was born at Willis Knighton in Bossier and was 40 weeks (born 1 day before his due date)! He was 6 weeks during our session.
What were you nervous about going into your session?
I wasn't worried about much. I had heard great things about Leslie, but with Covid-19 still lingering in our community, I did feel a little anxious about the possibility of exposing him to anything.
What was your favorite part of your newborn session experience?
It was very relaxed! Leslie was great & coached us non-models into family positions that made for such sweet photos.
How do you feel now that you have completed your newborn session and received your images?
Great! Wouldn't change it for the world. The pictures are beautiful and are a wonderful presentation of us as a new family.
Would you recommend Leslie to other parents looking to document their newborn with a professional newborn photographer? Why would you recommend Leslie as a photographer in Shreveport, Louisiana?
Of course, Leslie has a fantastic selection of props to use. She's very personable and easy-going. Plus her editing skills are A++. Can't wait to get more pictures made with her in the future!
Brooklynn's Senior Session / Leslie Whitaker Photographer, Senior Photographer - Louisiana Photographer
First, Brooklynn is stinkin’ gorgeous. When she told me she wanted to be a doctor I thought to myself, “ go on with yo bad self.” Brooklynn was so easy to work with too! Her smile would seriously light up a room, and I can’t wait to see how much she loves Millsaps. Located in Jackson, Mississippi (my old stomping ground, I grew up in Vicksburg and Jackson), Millsaps boast 100 acres, but enrolls less than 1,000 students total. The campus is beautiful, the staff is small and I know that Brooklynn will have the chance to flourish in her chosen path. I hope she chooses to go to medical school at UMC, but wherever she goes I know that she is going to do so well. :)
Covid-19 has changed many of the ways we live our life. I'd love to hear from you how it has directly affected Brooklynn's senior year. Did she miss out on anything that she'd planned? Did she struggle with finishing out the school year remotely?
Yes Covid-19 did affect Brooklynn during her Senior Year. This is the year every student looks forward to and plan for. She missed her last prom, her gymnastics meets, senior picnic and last moments with her Senior friends. She will even miss out on having a graduation ceremony where she can invite all her family and friends. But overall, she counts it all joy in knowing the Class of 2020 will ALWAYS be remembered. With them surviving this, it has definitely prepared them to handle hard(er) roads ahead.
Where will Brooklynn attend college and what will she study? Has she received any honors or scholarships?
Brooklynn will attend Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi where she will study Neuroscience with plans of becoming a Neurosurgeon. She has received $156,000 in scholarship awards and was accepted into seven (7) universities/colleges.
What were you or Brooklynn nervous about going into your session?
We were not nervous one bit, we were both excited.
What were your and Brooklynn's favorite part of your session experience?
The best part was taking the pictures, you made us feel so comfortable with how much you love your craft.
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received Brooklynn's images?
We love them!!
Would you recommend Leslie to other parents looking to document their child's senior year? Why would you recommend Leslie?
Of course. Leslie has a passion for what she does and she makes the session fun, and she follows up with her clients.
Charli - Quarantine Babies - Shreveport Newborn Photographer - Leslie Whitaker Photography
Covid-19 has changed many of the ways we live our life. I'd love to hear from you how it has directly affected your pregnancy. Do you feel like you've missed out on anything during your pregnancy with Charli that you got to do during your previous pregnancies? Do you recall any emotional differences related to the changes you faced towards the end of your pregnancy?
The Covid shut down started during a very important time in my pregnancy. I had just entered my third trimester and was looking forward to all the things I got to do with my two boys. I was going to do a 4d ultrasound, make a heart beat bear, have my baby shower, and take maternity pictures. Covid unfortunately ruined all of those plans. Because of the shutdown my husband's casino closed and we went from one income to no income. At that point we had to prioritize where our money went and had to follow a strict budget. The 4d ultrasound, heart beat bear, and maternity session did not fit into our budget anymore. I lost out on having my husband at my last ultrasound before the baby was born. I lost out on a regular baby shower. I will say what everyone came up with was wonderful though. In my third trimester I was an emotional wreck. I was anxious about going into labor. Since my children were out of school I was taking care of three rowdy boys and my daughter. I was a full time student as well. Teaching three school age children, cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and tons of snacks in between lol), going to school myself, and trying to keep up with my duties around the house was draining. Emotionally and physically. It also unknown how Covid affected pregnant women. If it could be transferred to the baby invitro or not. All of the what ifs made it impossible to not to constantly worry. Sleep was out of the question. All in all my quarantine pregnancy was more stressful and caused more anxiety and possible depression. I started to doubt if I could handle having a newborn and continue doing all I was for my other children. I started to doubt my ability as a mother and a wife. It was difficult not having a support system and knowing I was stuck in quarantine.
How was your hospital stay? Do you recall any differences in processes, how you were treated, etc. compared to your previous birth experiences? How did those differences make you feel?
When we arrived at the hospital we had to answer questions like had we been out of the state, have we been in contact with anyone sick, and do we feel sick. They then took our temperatures and called the labor and delivery nurses. When the nurses came down and escorted us upstairs there was no leaving after that. My husband was not allowed to leave for snacks, drinks, or anything of any sort. If he did he was not allowed back in. The nurses that tended to me all wore masks and didn't come in the room very often. If I needed something I had to call for them which was much different than what I was used to. With both of my boys I was surrounded by nurses constantly. Waking me up in the middle of the night, a lactation assistant coming in, the nursery nurses checking on the baby, etc. When i had Charli, she never left the room. They didn't take her to the nursery to bath her. She stayed with me 24/7.
Where was Charli born and at how many weeks gestation? How old was your baby on the date of her session?
Charli was born at Willis Knighton Bossier at 39 weeks. I was induced. On the date of her session she was a month old!
What were you nervous about going into your session?
Going in to the session I was just glad to be out of the house. It was the first time (other than going to the hospital) that I had been out of the house since quarantine began. Other than dr appointments.
What was your favorite part of your session experience?
My favorite part was getting to see Charli dressed up. Also getting to talk and connect with another adult and awesome photographer. You were so wonderful with Charli!!
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?
I feel good knowing that our experience was documented. That I can show her when she is older. I am also excited that I can tell my story to hopefully help out other moms who are going through what we did and give them some peace in knowing that everything will be okay!
Would you recommend Leslie to other parents looking to document their newborn? Why would you recommend Leslie?
Of course I would recommend Leslie to everyone! I love her work and she was so gentle and wonderful with Charli. She has definitely found her calling in photography!
Jenna + Weston / A Motherhood Session / Leslie Whitaker Photography/ Shreveport Motherhood Photographer
What were you nervous about going into your motherhood session?
After 9 months of pregnancy, clothes don’t fit the same anymore. I didn’t really have anything to wear. With the Covid-19 pandemic, I couldn’t go into stores to purchase a new outfit. I was honest with Leslie about this upon arrival and she worked with me throughout the session which allowed me to feel comfortable and I knew she had an eye for what looked good on camera.
How old was your baby on the date of your session?
Weston turned 6 months old four days after our session.
What was your favorite part of your session experience?
Weston is the happiest baby who always has a smile on his face. Well, unless you put a clicking camera in front of him! I could not get him to smile or giggle! He was infatuated with Leslie and her camera. I laugh when I think about it!
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?
I am so excited to be able to post our images and send them to family and friends!
Would you recommend Leslie to other mothers looking to document their relationship with their babies? Why would you recommend Leslie?
Leslie is incredibly professional, personable, and passionate about her job. Even though we didn’t get a lot of smiles out of my baby, she still captured wonderful photos that I will cherish forever. I highly recommend her!
Ashley // Shreveport Maternity Photographer // Leslie Whitaker Photography
Ashley is such a joy to work with. We chatted for months before her maternity session, and just like most first time Moms she was worried about ALL the things. On the day of her session Ashley and Nicole first met with my on staff makeup artist, Dana. Dana spent about an hour with Ashley at the studio making sure that she loved her look and then Ashley and Nicole drove to meet me at my bayou, in North Bossier.
The bayou is lined with Pecan trees, and can look completely different from one session to the next. Sometimes the grass is tall, sometimes its just be cut. Sometimes the bayou water is high, and sometimes (like during Ashley’s fall session) the water was low and we got to see all the cypress knees. I just love it there.
Ashley pops in all the photographs I take of her, but she looks especially beautiful in red. You can tell by the first photo below, that she believed she was beautiful this day. Ash brought her own jewelry, her Mama made sure of that, and I provided the gown ( and wiiiiiiings). I just love how Nicole gazes at Ashley, you can’t just about FEEL the love radiating in the photographs below.
Shay's Maternity Session - Shreveport Maternity Photographer - Leslie Whitaker Photography
I first met Shay when she was my little girls K-3 teacher at First Bossier in Bossier City, Louisiana. My daughter is smitten with her, and I can see why. Shay is a strong willed woman, with a sweet disposition. I love spending time with her and I’m so glad I was able to be the one to take her maternity photographs.
What made you choose Leslie Whitaker for your Maternity Boudoir session?
I picked Leslie for my maternity photos because her pictures are really good and her style seamed perfect to celebrate my pregnancy.
What were you nervous about going into your session?
I was nervous about looking really bad in my pictures.
What was your favorite part of your session experience?
Actually stepping out of my comfort zone.
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?
I feel Amazing!
Would you recommend Leslie to other ladies looking to book a maternity or boudoir session? Why?
Yes and I have. People may want to have some done that way she dose them rather than outside.
Shreveport, Louisiana Maternity Photographer // Rhonda's Maternity Session
Covid-19 has changed many of the ways we live our life. I'd love to hear from you how it has directly affected your pregnancy. Do you feel like you've missed out on anything? How are you feeling emotionally? Etc.
I do feel like it has impacted my pregnancy. Not being able to get together with family and friends. Not being able to have my husband at the doctor appointments and not being able to have my other children at the hospital when we bring our daughter into the world. It saddens me really. I feel like I have missed out on a lot of moments that I was able to capture in my previous pregnancies. Breaks my heart really. Moments that I will never experience again as this is my last child. Having Leslie do my maternity shoot definitely took some sting away. Helped me feel more normal outside of the Covid-19.
What were you nervous about going into your session?
I don't recall being nervous. I was excited to be able to have the opportunity to have the pictures done during this covid-19 pandemic.
What was your favorite part of your session experience?
The way I felt so comfortable. Just talking and feeling like I wasn't just a stranger I’d just met.
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?
I feel even more beautiful than I did before.
Would you recommend Leslie to other ladies looking to book a maternity session? Why?
Absolutely! Leslie is very laid-back and gentle. Most photographers seem demanding but she was soft spoken and just overall gentle.
So many parts of life have been impacted, and I know that my way of thinking has changed a lot. A certain level of fear is healthy, enough to keep you safe. Sometimes you need to leave the fear in the background and enjoy your season of life. I’m happy to have been able to give Rhonda a sense of normalcy as she gets ready to welcome Presley into her sweet family. I can’t wait to get to capture this beautiful baby girl as she grows.

Jacie is "berry sweet" // Shreveport First Birthday Photographer // Leslie Whitaker Photography
Why did you choose Leslie to capture your child's first birthday portraits?
After looking at her work, I loved the white background! It focused more on my child, Jacie, than an actual themed background.
Were you nervous about anything going into your child's session? Please explain.
I was nervous because my child always seems to be sleepy or cranky when it’s time for pictures.
What was your favorite part of the session experience?
My favorite part had to be trying to get her to eat the cake and strawberries. Although, she gave us a hard time (inserts eye roll). Leslie was very patient and you could tell she had experience dealing with children my daughter’s age.
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?
I feel great! I just knew none of her pictures were going to be good. She got some great shots of Jacie.
Would you recommend Leslie to other parents looking to book a first birthday session for their child? Why?
Yes! Highly recommend. She definitely has experience with dealing with children and her patience is just unheard of! She’s very professional and answers in a timely manner, always!

Audrey, not Hepburn. | Shreveport Senior Photographer |Leslie Whitaker Photography
Audrey is adorable. Beautiful. Silly. All the things. I know Audrey and her Mama because they hockey, just like we do. They've been Shreveport Mudbug fans longer than I have, but we’re cut from the same cloth.
When I tell you I was excited to be chosen as her senior photographer…… I.WAS.SO.EXCITED. We chatted about location, they looked at previous sessions of mine and we texted back and forth. We met downtown for the first part of Audrey's appointment and we will actually meet for round two in December ON THE ICE at Hirsch Coliseum.
Her Mama recently answered a few questions about the experience:
What made you choose Leslie for your senior session?I had seen your work and liked it, plus I knew you!
What were you nervous about going into your session?Nothing
What was your favorite part of your session experience?Doing the picture with the confetti.
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images? The picture are amazing!
Would you recommend Leslie to other parents and seniors looking to book a senior session? Why?Yes, reasonably priced very personal and makes you feel at ease.
I’m proud to show off my favorites from Audrey’s downtown senior session.
A Newborn Session - Elianna - Shreveport Newborn Photographer
Elainna is my first baby in my transition to baby lead newborn sessions. I call them, ‘Simply Baby by Leslie’. I find a particular beauty in stepping back from the distraction of a multitude of color and props in newborn photos. To me, at the end of it all you want to remember every single wrinkle, that funny face they made when they were mad, or even something as simple as the way they stretch. You won’t remember it if you don’t have photos of it, and those photos should be beautiful.
Most of us take a bajillion photos on our phones, but how many of us print those photos out? Not many, and if you do - rock on you bada** Mama. Maybe you do that, and you want some bomb professional newborn photos of your baby too. That’s where I come in. I really take care of it all.
If parents want to be in the photos, I offer a complimentary hair and makeup session for Mama! Because, let’s be honest… you are tired. So, I’ll take that part off your plate. :) Siblings, they’re welcome too. We’ll even do their photos first, so that they can go with Grandma to get some ice-cream and meet you at home later.
Now, read on about how Jordan felt before, during and after Elianna’s session…. and then book your sweet baby’s session next.
-Leslie
What made you choose Leslie for your recent newborn session?
I had first looked into her for maternity photos when I was pregnant, as I had seen her work from mutual friends on Facebook. Unfortunately, I saw on her page that she was on maternity leave during the time frame I’d need to capture my belly. So when it came time for newborn pictures of my sweet baby, I knew exactly where to start!
What were you nervous about going into your newborn session?
I was so worried that my little stinker would be uncooperative, as she was a bit colicky at the time (turns out it was a pretty serious stomach condition causing the fuss). I’m also a first time, self-proclaimed ‘helicopter mom’ and was anxious about a virtual stranger handling my baby.
What was your favorite part of your newborn session experience?
Leslie was so professional and warm at the same time! She knew exactly what to do to keep my baby calm and cooperative- even when she got fussy, and peed on one of the outfit wraps! It was so nice to be able to just relax and gush about how cute my baby looked.
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?
I am 100% confident in my choice of photographer. The images were absolutely beautiful and everyone loves them!
Would you recommend Leslie to other families looking for a newborn photographer in Louisiana? Why?
Yes! The expertise and flexibility she brings is absolutely essential in a newborn photographer, and her work is incredible. Everyone looking to document their baby’s precious moments with total peace of mind should look to Leslie!

What made you choose Leslie Whitaker for your Maternity session? Her work is stunning first off and I was looking for a photographer to do my maternity pictures and Leslie was offering an amazing deal I couldn’t pass up and I’m so glad I didn’t!!
What were you nervous about going into your session?I was nervous that I wasn’t going to like the final images or something wasn’t going to go right. I haven’t had the best of luck with other photographers in the past but Leslie made the entire experience outstanding!

How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?I feel absolutely beautiful! I couldn’t have picked a better photographer to capture these precious memories.
Would you recommend Leslie to other ladies looking to book a maternity session? Why?OF COURSE! She was very welcoming, made me and my husband feel comfortable, and the final images are absolutely beautiful! :)

What made you choose Leslie Whitaker for your family photo session?Honestly I came across an offer for a mini session on face book years ago and it had been a while since my kiddos and I had pics made so I wanted to take advantage because it was such a good offer being a single parent at the time. (I AM SO GLAD I DID)
What were you nervous about going into your session?I wasn't really nervous because my kids are very photogenic so I had no doubts about Leslie. Not because of my kids being photogenic but because I had researched her prior photos and loved her images she had taken of prior families.
What was your favorite part of your session experience? My favorite part is her eye for the pictures we take. I allow her to just do what she wants and the pics are always perfect. She knows my family and just goes with what she will believe will work and it always does. Chases senior pictures that she took were amazing. We brought the outfits and props and she brought everything else to light for us. We have some amazing memories from the pictures she has taken for us.
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?I am completely in AWW. Everytime I get a session done by her I can't wait to get them back. I am constantly checking to see if I have an email or message from her saying they are ready. I show them off to everyone as soon as I get a chance. I'VE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED!!!
Would you recommend Leslie to other families looking to book a family session? Why?I would highly recommend Leslie to book family sessions. She does amazing work and the pictures are always of good quality. She got to know us on a personal basis and with each session it gets more fun. She knows exactly what to do with each photo we take. She gets personal with every photo whether its a group photo or its our individual pictures.

What made you choose Leslie Whitaker for your Family session?
I started following Leslie’s Facebook page when a friend recommended her for photos. I was interested in her maternity photo shoot. She ran a special that I could not pass up and I scheduled. I was able to schedule 3 weeks before my due date. The funny part, I went into labor the exact day of my photo shoot. So we ended up rescheduling and turning it into a family session!
What were you nervous about going into your session?
I was nervous about the outfits matching. It was so hard to match my entire family. The outcome was beautiful and it was all worth the trouble I had matching everything.
What was your favorite part of your session experience?
My favorite part was how Leslie presented herself. She messed around with the boys to get them a little more comfortable with her. She was very friendly.
How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?
I absolutely love my photos!
Would you recommend Leslie to other families looking to book a session? Why?
